The brief
Since 07’ Black Acre Records has been at the pinnacle of genre defying electronic music, curating the apotheosis of contemporary heat. With no specific genre they cling to, they focus on consistently breaking ground with new talent. This meant they needed a ground breaking website that represented their ethos and told their story in an engaging way.
The build
This site represents an ambitious build that pushes the boundaries of what is possible within Squarespace through the development of custom code. It offers an engaging and interactive experience for users, narrating Black Acre’s story and showcasing their current roster of artists. Notable features include an interactive record gallery, enabling users to scroll through hundreds of records and preview information for each one.
