Your agency’s Squarespace developer, without the hire. I’ve worked on hundreds of white label Squarespace projects, working as one of your team: your designs, built exact to the Figma files, custom features included.
100s
Agencies bring me in when a client asks for Squarespace and it isn’t worth building a team around. I slot in as one of yours: you design it, I build it, you deliver it.
one of your team
A simple process I’ve refined over hundreds of builds. You deal with me directly at every stage, so nothing gets lost in translation.
Figma files, scope and deadline, however complete they are. Every project is different, so I quote bespoke to your brief and wireframes.
I build as a member of your team, following my own tried and tested process. Progress and questions come to you, and you keep all comms with your client.
Amends get turned round quickly, then I hand the finished build over to you quietly and seamlessly, ready for you to present.
I build to your wireframes and designs as drawn. Padding, type, images, the lot. Your designers won’t be sending it back.
Where Squarespace stops, I write the custom code to get the feature your client was promised.
I work as a member of your team. No separate brand in the mix, just another pair of hands on the build.
You keep full comms with your client from start to finish. I just build, and everything goes through you.
Nothing goes in my portfolio or on my socials without your written permission first.
I transfer full ownership of the site over to you when the project is complete.
Feedback gets actioned quickly, without you having to chase, then I hand over quietly and seamlessly.
If you want it, I stay on as invisible second-line support, so fixes still come from you.
Lasting Lemons were moving to Squarespace, and the wireframes arrived already designed, full of animation to keep the site lively. My job was to build them faithfully: custom code and Squarespace’s more advanced features for the smooth animations and interactive elements, on a site the team can still update themselves.

THEY SAY Studios came with a clear creative vision and their wireframes locked in. I built the site from scratch on Squarespace, with custom code for the look the wireframes called for, case study layouts that flex around each project, and a blog the team can keep publishing to without a developer.

Your client gets Platinum Partner work with your agency’s name on it. You get a Squarespace specialist on the team without the hire, the training or the overhead.
Platinum is the top tier of Squarespace’s Circle partner programme. It means a designer has built a significant number of sites and has been vetted by Squarespace directly.
More than 250 websites launched for entrepreneurs, creatives, SMEs and agencies, so very little on the platform is new to me.
Working with a Platinum Partner can unlock 20% to 25% off your first year’s Squarespace subscription.
“Nick and the team at Design by Ency have been an absolute pleasure to work with. The design knowledge and control over the Squarespace platform that they have is second to none. Thank you for all your help!”

no such thing as a silly question
Yes, that’s the most common way agencies use me. I build exact to your wireframes and designs, and write custom code for any feature Squarespace doesn’t offer out of the box.
No. White label is development only: you bring the designs and I build them in Squarespace. It keeps your design team in charge of how the work looks.
Not from me. I work as a member of your team and you keep full comms with your client, so everything they see comes from you.
You do. I transfer full ownership of the site over to you when the project is complete, ready for you to hand on to your client.
Every project is different, so I quote bespoke to the brief and the wireframes. Send them over and I’ll come back with a price for that build. Costs are typically lower than a standard full build for my own clients, because you’re managing the project and the client comms directly. All I’m paid for is the actual work.
Not without your written permission first. By default, white label work stays invisible.
Send the Figma and I build it in Squarespace exactly as designed, under your name and on your timeline. Quoted per brief, with the same care I put into my own client work.
